Stationed at Naval Station Mayport, Florida, and established on 4 October 1985, HSM-40 is one of two elite MH-60R Fleet Replacement Squadrons serving Helicopter Maritime Strike Wing Atlantic. Our mission to train pilots and aircrew for the U.S. Atlantic Fleet—and allied partners from around the world—is unmatched.

The AIRWOLVES fly and maintain more than 20 MH-60R Seahawk helicopters, the Navy’s cutting-edge submarine-hunting and surface warfare platform. Whether deployed across the globe or training at home, the AIRWOLVES are always ready to serve—past, present, and future.

To celebrate this enduring spirit, we’ve created a limited-edition pickleball paddle that reflects the pride and power of the AIRWOLVES. This high-performance paddle will feature custom artwork inspired by the MH-60R “Romeo” and the squadron’s fierce legacy.
