Kalaheo High School Supporter Paddle

At Kalaheo High school Girls Basketball, we know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all. Our program motto for the year is to develop “Success from Within.” “Success from Within” is about helping young female athletes discover who they are in different parts of their life. This year, we are working on developing a curriculum that is designed to promote strong female leaders and support among women. The program is aimed to educate, offer new views, model healthy and respectful behavior, and promote active bystander intervention. We will have discussions around gender bias and oppression of women, self-esteem, women’s roles in sports and culture, positive body image, female competition, and female leadership. We have every intention to help each athlete become a “successful” basketball player, a “successful” student and –most of all – a “successful” person.
